Privacy notice

This notice is published in Arabic and English. If the two differ, the Arabic text applies.

1. Who we are

Clay Cube Trading (كلاي كيوب للتجارة), commercial registration 233330, Excellence Tower, Unit 3002, West Bay, Doha, Qatar.

We decide how the personal data you send through this site is used and why. Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016 on Protecting Personal Data Privacy (the Law) applies to it.

2. What we collect

• From the form: your name, email, phone, studio, school or company, what you need, the quantity or model, and the date you need it.
• Automatically: the source tag in the link or QR code you used, the date and time you sent the form, and the technical data every website receives: your IP address and browser details.

3. Why we use it

• To read your enquiry, reply to it and discuss it with you.
• To follow up on that enquiry.
• To count how many enquiries come from each link or channel.
• To protect the site and the form from misuse.

We will not use your data for any other purpose without asking you first.

4. Your consent

By sending the form, you confirm you have read this notice and agree that we use your details to answer your enquiry (Article 4 of the Law). You can withdraw your consent at any time (section 8).

5. Who sees it, and where it goes

• Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the form and stores each enquiry.
• Google Workspace: a copy of your enquiry is emailed to the founder's mailbox on Ceramic Cube's email domain.
• Anthropic (Claude): AI assistants used by Clay Cube and Ceramic Cube Pottery Trading read enquiries to sort them and draft replies. A person checks every reply before it is sent.
• The hosting, file storage and messaging services those assistants run on.
• The person in our team who answers enquiries.
• Ceramic Cube Pottery Trading, CR 139381, a separate company in our group: it owns the email system where your enquiry arrives.

These services process data outside Qatar, including in the United States and Europe. The Law allows personal data to move across borders (Article 15). We use these services only for the purposes in section 3.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone other than those listed above, unless the law requires us to.

When you press a button in the shop, you leave this site for ceramic3cube.com, the store of our sister studio. That store runs checkout and handles your order under its own terms and notices.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry for 12 months from the day we receive it. After that we delete the form record and the emailed copy.

7. How we protect it

The form sends your data over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiries are used only by the people and assistants who work on them, and our providers hold them in protected accounts. If a breach could seriously harm you, we will tell you and the regulator (Article 14).

8. Your rights

Under Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, you can:

• ask what data we hold about you and why, and get a copy of it;
• ask us to correct it, with something that shows the correct details;
• ask us to delete it;
• withdraw your consent;
• object to how we use it.

How to ask: email hello@clay3cube.com or use the enquiry form, and tell us what you want. Use the email address you used for your enquiry so we can find it. We may ask you to confirm it is you. We will reply within 30 days.

9. Complaints

Please tell us first. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the authority that enforces the Law, the National Cyber Security Agency (ncsa.gov.qa) (Article 26).

10. Please do not send

• Personal data of a special nature: health, physical or mental condition, ethnic origin, religious belief, marital relations, criminal offences or records, or any data about children (Article 16).
• QID, passport or other ID numbers, or bank or card details.
• Other people's personal details, apart from the name of the colleague we should contact.

This site is for businesses and adults. It is not aimed at children. If you are under 18, please do not use the form.

11. Cookies, analytics and images

The site has no analytics and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Its fonts are served from the site itself. Cloudflare hosts the site and sees your IP address in order to serve the pages and protect the site from abuse.

The shop and home pages show product photos served by Shopify's image network (cdn.shopify.com) for Ceramic Cube's store. Shopify receives your IP address and browser details to deliver them.

12. Changes

If we change this notice, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date and version number.
